Highlights of the 54 species recorded at Ardmore early morning included four Little Egret, a Ruff, a Whimbrel, 15 Knot, ten Black-tailed Godwits and an excellent count of 21 Grey Herons, also amongst the passerines, 49 Linnets.
A rare sighting nowadays of a Grey Partridge at Millichen Flood.
Be on the watch for Mistle Thrush flocks now as about 25 were recorded at Gleniffer Braes, Paisley.

Two Black-tailed Godwits at Auchendores Reservoir, Kilmacolm; nearby, now nine Tree Pipits at Kilmacolm Meadow.
Two Black-tailed Godwits and at least three Green Sandpipers at RSPB Baron's Haugh, also a Spotted Flycatcher in Dalzell Estate.
A female Pintail still at Frankfield Loch., also an influx of 121 Teal.
A flock of 200 Goldfinches at Windlaw Farm, near Carmunnock would suggest a good breeding season.
At RSPB Loch Lomond, nine Black-tailed Godwits and 41 Dunlin, also passerines included three Whinchats, a Sedge Warbler, a Grasshopper Warbler and a flock of 100 Meadow Pipits.
Results from a passive sound recorder over the weekend at Auchendores produced an Arctic Tern and at least two Greenshanks.
