A Wood Sandpiper still showing well on the scrape at RSPB Lochwinnoch, also a Little Ringed Plover.
Two Reed Warblers still at Hogganfield Loch.
A Little Egret and a Bar-tailed Godwit at Longhaugh Point field pools.

A Wood Sandpiper still showing well on the scrape at RSPB Lochwinnoch, also two Little Ringed Plovers and four Lapwing chicks from three pairs.
Two singing Reed Warblers still at Hogganfield Loch.
 
Tuesday 4 June 2024
An Osprey with a small fish at Gartloch Pool; nearby, a cold weather congregation of at least 60 Swifts and 60 House Martins.
 
Wednesday 5 June 2024
A Red-necked Phalarope at RSPB Baron's Haugh, sixth record for Clyde and second for Lanarkshire, also an Osprey over in the evening.
At least one Reed Warbler, singing occasionally, at Hogganfield Loch.
Two Little Ringed Plovers on the RSPB Lochwinnoch scrape.
19 Shelducks and eight ducklings at their inland breeding site at South Medwin Pools, Dunsyre.
 
Thursday 6 June 2024
 A female Red-necked Phalarope at Balgray Reservoir could well be yesterday's bird at RSPB Baron's Haugh.
The pair of Redshank (a declining breeding species locally and nationally) at the RSPB Lochwinnoch scrape has produced three young.

A Little Egret and at least one Greenshank in Ardmore North Bay.
At RSPB Lochwinnoch, up to three Little Ringed Plovers on the Aird Meadow scrape, also Redshanks with their three chicks and a Black-headed Gull with two young; nearby, an excellent count of 18 Great Crested Grebes on Barr Loch, also 30 Swifts.
Unusually, a Tree Sparrow in a Mugdock village garden.

Six Little Egrets at the Longhaugh Point field Pools, and further downstream two Wigeon at Finlaystone Point.
An Osprey at Cardross Bay.
A pair of Shoveler on Dargavel Wildlife Pond, Bishopton is a first for the site.

A pair of Shelduck with seven young at Endrick Mouth.
 
Tuesday 11 June 2024
Five Common Scoters (three males) between Ardmore and Helensburgh.
Two Little Egrets at Longhaugh Point field pools.
At RSPB Lochwinnoch, with the usual regulars, now a Tufted Duck brood.

A Wood Warbler again in song in Sitka Spruce above Muirshiel Country Park Visitor Centre
Three Mandarin Ducks on the scrape at RSPB Lochwinnoch.
A Reed Warbler in reeds at east end of Hogganfield Loch.

A Great White Egret at Compensation Reservoir, Clyde Muirshiel Country Park for a second day.
Six Common Scoters (four drakes) and three Red-throated Divers off Ardmore, also, three Bar-tailed Godwits in the south bay.
Four Little Egrets at Longhaugh Point, also incredibly two Bottle-nosed Dolphins travelling upstream past.
An Osprey catching a fish and eating it at Gartloch Pool.
A Wood Warbler still singing in pines at the Muirshiel Country Park Centre end of Windy Hill path.

A Reed Warbler continues at Hogganfield Loch.
On the scrape at RSPB Lochwinnoch, both Little Ringed Plover and Ringed Plover present, also chicks of Lapwings and Black-headed Gulls.

An Osprey fishing at Balgray Reservoir and Ryat Linn Reservoir.

Autumn return of a Green Sandpiper at BAE Systems, Bishopton, also a female type Mandarin Duck.

The first proved breeding in Renfrewshire of Wood Warbler for almost 20 Years at Muirshiel Country Park.

Up to two Green Sandpipers and Black-tailed Godwit at RSPB Baron's Haugh.
Two Mandarin Ducks still on RSPB Lochwinnoch scrape and an Osprey in the area, also, another female Shoveler with seven ducklings.
