A record count for present times of 134 Pintail at the Ardoch roost, Dumbarton. This constitutes the highest count on the estuary for 50 years when a flock of over 200 birds could be seen.

Good numbers of wildfowl and returning waders at Lamington including 70 Curlew, 66 Oystercatchers, 52 Lapwing and 128 Wigeon.

17 Slavonian Grebes, 57 Great Crested Grebes and 12 Red-throated Divers off Ardmore Point, also 38 Bar-tailed Godwits in Ardmore south bay.
