A total of 183 Greenland White-fronted Geese between Gartocharn and Croftamie including 157 in two flocks in the Finnery area, 17 to the west of Hillhead Farm and nine over Endrick Water near the Crom Mhin; also two Barnacle Geese with 350 Pink-feet at Hillhead Farm, another Barnacle Goose with 420 Pinkfeet near Balquain Farm and a large flock of 1,000 Pink-footed Geese at Gartocharn.
From the Isle of Arran, only two Black-throated Divers in Whiting Bay.

Records from the north side of the estuary included 33 Pintail at Ardoch, Dumbarton, 36 Bar-tailed Godwits between there and Cardross, also only two Slavonian Grebes and six Red-throated Divers off Ardmore.
Two Chiffchaffs reported this morning with one in song at Richmond Park, Glasgow and another non-singing bird at RSPB Baron’s Haugh.

Four Black-throated Diver at the southern end of Holy Isle, Whiting Bay, Arran.
A NW movement of Whooper Swans noted nationally, and in Clyde, in the morning, a total of 133 over Balmore Pool, 47 landing at Net Bay, RSPB Loch Lomond, 47 over RSPB Baron’s Haugh and 16 over Drumclog Muir, near Milngavie, later in the day, 50 in two groups NW over Bothwell Castle and 84 circling Lochwinnoch, before landing at SW end of Barr Loch and finally at dusk 70 NW over Croftamie were noted passing Aber Bog a minute later.
Migrants included a White Wagtail at Balmore Pool and four Sand Martins at RSPB Loch Lomond.

Four Black-throated Diver at the southern end of Holy Isle, Whiting Bay, Arran.
A NW movement of Whooper Swans noted nationally, and in Clyde, in the morning, a total of 133 over Balmore Pool, 47 landing at Net Bay, RSPB Loch Lomond, 47 over RSPB Baron’s Haugh and 16 over Drumclog Muir, near Milngavie, later in the day, 50 in two groups NW over Bothwell Castle and 84 circling Lochwinnoch, before landing at SW end of Barr Loch and finally at dusk 70 NW over Croftamie were noted passing Aber Bog a minute later.
Migrants included a White Wagtail at Balmore Pool and four Sand Martins at RSPB Loch Lomond.

Two Little Ringed Plovers at Balgray Reservoirand a Greenshank flying off at 0945 hrs, also now three at Endrick Water.
From the Isle of Bute, a White-tailed Eagle at Largiezean Farm, also at Stravanan Bay, two Great Northern Divers, four Gannets, two Twite and two Wheatears.
Three summer-plumaged Slavonian Grebes off Ardmore.
Four Black-tailed Godwits at Balmore Pool.
Single Ospreys noted at Langbank, Barcraigs Reservoir, Drymen Bridge, Loch Thom and RSPB Loch Lomond.
A ringtail Hen Harrier at Drymen Bridge.
Two Sandwich Terns at White Bay, Great Cumbrae, also two Wheatears.
