Most of the summer migrants have now arrived in Clyde with some good numbers including up to an exceptional eight Cuckoos at Muirshiel Country Park.

Highlights of a sea watch at Cloch Point between 10.30-12.30 were a Fulmar (a rare bird in Clyde), two Manx Shearwaters south and 45 Common Scoters north into the estuary.

A Stone-curlew by the Black Cart Water at Inchinnan (NS488683), viewable from the road. found by Andy Monaghan. This is the third record for Clyde and first for Renfrewshire; one near Strathblane (West Stirlingshire) was shot in August 1897, the second was at Abington (South Lanarkshire) in April 1966.
