28 Greenland White-fronted Geese in a field by the Burn of Mar at Gartfairn Farm, east Loch Lomond.
A Great White Egret again in Net Bay at RSPB Loch Lomond this morning, also a Red-throated Diver on the loch towards Aber Isle and two Bramblings at the feeders along the nature trail; later the Great White Egret flying towards Wards Pond but not refound there, but two pairs of Pintail present.
The Long-tailed Duck again on Castle Semple Loch.
Along the Allander Walkway, two Bramblings by the Prescott Bridge, many Tree Sparrows, ten Barnacle Geese with c1000 Pink-footed Geese and 30 Whooper Swans.
Most unusually, a juvenile Gannet flying in the flock of Pink-footed Geese by the Allander Walkway.
Also, by the Allander Walkway, a Peregrine with jesses being mobbed by corvids (mostly young rooks) then eventually turning and catching one of them.
An exceptional passage of c3000 Fieldfares and Redwings over Ashgill, near Lesmahagow.
Four Little Egrets in the North Bay at Ardmore.
