A Pectoral Sandpiper continues at Frankfield Loch.
A male Hen Harrier hunting at the south end of Barr Loch, RSPB Lochwinnoch.
An unprecedented Visible Migration (VisMig) record for Clyde of Barnacle Geese mainly south, but some west from early morning to late afternoon. starting over Kilmacolm early morning before dawn (44 over at 15.20), 42 over Crom Mhin at 11.15 and 80 (in three skeins) over Wards Pond in the afternoon, 160 over Larkhall at 12.40, 150 over Cardross at 13.00, later, 200 over Barrhead at 14.50, and at least 355 in four skeins over Erskine late afternoon, heard over Cardonald at 16.45. Pink-footed Geese passage is well-documented over the recording area as birds return to their staging post at The Meetings area of South Lanarkshire, but Barnacle Geese have always been rare.
First Redwing for the recording area (unless you know better) of the autumn with six over Craigend Hill Erskine early morning.

A ringtail Hen Harrier low over Balcorrach Wood, Campsie Glen.
An unusual record of 20 Twite flying along the Endrick Water, near Croftamie.
Movement of Redwing noted with 130 over Longhaugh Point, 50 over Kilmacolm, 25 over Croftamie, 15 over RSPB Loch Lomond, a small flock at Balcorrach Wood and two at Garscube Estate.
The final count for yesterday's movement came to a conservative estimate of 1,139 Barnacle Geese as birds heard passing overnight could not be counted. Today, much fewer reports with 99 in four skeins west past Longhaugh Point.2 7 over Endrick/Blane confluence, 46 over Barr Loch, RSPB Lochwinnoch and 11 past Riverside Museum, Glasgow early evening, also a restless flock of 30 birds which arrived at Cardross yesterday but keep attempting to fly off but keep returning after 10-15 minutes.
