An amazing 67 Whimbrel on the scrape at RSPB Lochwinnoch.
30 Whimbrel at Ardmore, also 17 Black-tailed Godwits, 30 Dunlin and 50 Ringed Plovers; across on the south side, three Whimbrel at West Ferry.
A Whimbrel and eleven Shelducks on South Medwin Pools, Dunsyre.
The drake Ring-necked Duck and female Scaup still at Balgray Reservoir, also 17 White Wagtails and a drake Goldeneye.
A pair of Pintail continues at RSPB Baron's Haugh and a drake still at Balmore Pool.
Swift arrival noted with up to five at Balgray, two at Balmore Pool and at RSPB Lochwinnoch.
Single Garden Warblers noted at Merryton, Campsie Glen and Airdrie.
 
Tuesday 2 May 2023
From Great Cumbrae, 46 Whimbrel at Skate Bay; nearby, a singing Garden Warbler and 12 Bar-tailed Godwit at Ballochmartin Bay.
The drake Ring-necked Duck and female Scaup still at Balgray Reservoir.
From Whiting Bay, Isle of Arran, three Black-throated Divers, three Red-throated Divers and a Great Northern Diver.
At Ardmore, eight Whimbrel, 14 Black-tailed Godwits, five Common Terns and a Whinchat.
A drake Scaup at Ross Park, west Loch Lomond.
A Manx Shearwater past Inverkip with five Red-throated Divers on the water there.
A Black-tailed Godwit at RSPB Baron's Haugh.
Swift arrival noted with four at Frankfield Loch, one at Milngavie and one yesterday at Lanark.
Single Garden Warblers noted at RSPB Lochwinnoch, RSPB Loch Lomond and Ross Park.
A Fieldfare over Blacklaw Moss, Carstairs.
 
Wednesday 3 May 2023
47 Whimbrel on the scrape at RSPB Lochwinnoch; nearby, a single Whimbrel at Castle Semple Loch.
17 Whimbrel north over Machrie Bay, Isle of Arran.
Three Knot with Ringed Plovers and Dunlin at Ardmore
A Black-tailed Godwit still at RSPB Baron's Haugh.
Swift arrival noted with up to five at Castle Semple Loch.
First Spotted Flycatcher back at Aird Meadow trail, RSPB Lochwinnoch.
Garden Warblers have arrived in good numbers with a total of five at Merryton/Baron's Haugh and three in the Castle Semple Loch area.
An excellent count of six male Whinchats at Balcorrach Wood, Milton of Campsie.
600 Pink-footed Geese in three skeins NE over Castle Semple Loch in the morning, 300 over nearby RSPB Lochwinnoch could be part of these birds and an hour later similar numbers noted over RSPB Loch Lomond and Balcorrach Wood, also 200 over Carbarns mid-morning.

Five Whimbrel at Ardmore Point, also a summer plumage Black-tailed Godwit in the north bay and a single Bar-tailed Godwit at Cardross.
A Black-tailed Godwit still at RSPB Baron's Haugh.
30 Swifts over Lochwinnoch, and two Little Ringed Plovers continue on scrape at RSPB Lochwinnoch.
A Spotted Flycatcher hawking insects by River Kelvin in Kelvingrove Park.

25 Common Terns in Ardmore South Bay, a summer plumage Black-tailed Godwit and Whimbrel in the north bay and five Red-throated Divers off the point.
A Black-tailed Godwit continues at RSPB Baron's Haugh.
 
Saturday 6 May 2023
A singing Reed Warbler at Newshot Island and, nearby, six White Wagtails at Longhaugh Point,
A Greenshank at South Medwin Pools.
A drake Garganey at Carbarns Pool and another or possibly the same at RSPB Baron's Haugh, also a Black-tailed Godwit still.
A single Whimbrel at Ardmore Point.
Osprey fishing along Avon Water at Chatelherault Country Park.

Seven Whimbrel at Ardmore North Bay, also an Osprey over south bay.

106 Ringed Plovers in farm field at Cardross.

A singing Pied Flycatcher at Birthwood, also in Culter Glen four Ring Ouzels, eight male Whinchats and a Merlin.
A drake Garganey again at Carbarns Pool.
Ten Whimbrel at Barr Loch, RSPB Lochwinnoch.
An Osprey circling Mugdock.

A 1st-winter Iceland Gull again at Craigmore, Isle of Bute.
A drake Garganey still at Carbarns Pool.
Three Ospreys circling Balmaha.
Now 20 Shelducks at their inland breeding site at South Medwin Pools, Dunsyre.

A Red Kite over Creuch Hill at 13.00, then SE over Duchal Moor.
A Red Kite over Lower Carbarns towards Wishaw, also an Osprey over Merryton in direction of RSPB Barons' Haugh.
A female Shoveler with a brood of three at RSPB Lochwinnoch, please note that Shoveler is on RBBP (Rare Breeding Bird Panel) list, and we are interested in all breeding records of that species.

A female Shelduck with a brood of nine at South Medwin Pools, also 12 adults.
Another female Shoveler with a brood of five at RSPB Lochwinnoch and the original female with three still present with the Little Ringed Plovers.
