To locate where to look, use the viewpoint at Blochairn (NS585758) which gives a panorama over the area and allows you, when they fly, to find the flock and then drive to it.
A Black-throated Diver and nine Slavonian Grebes far off Port Glasgow, also eight Red-throated Divers.
A Barnacle Goose with 2.200 Pink-feet at South Medwin Pools, Dunsyre, also spring inland return of a Ringed Plover, three Shelducks and 28 Curlews.
