A drake Ring-necked Duck still at Bingham's Pond, Glasgow.
Two Little Egret, at least two Ruff, two Green Sandpipers and six Black-tailed Godwits at RSPB Baron's Haugh.
Twelve Little Egrets, two Golden Plovers, three Knot, two Greenshanks and three Pintail in Ardmore North Bay.
Two Little Egrets and two Ospreys at Hillend Reservoir, also 17 Ringed Plovers and three Common Sandpipers.
A Little Egret at Lunderston Bay, Gourock.

Tuesday 2 September 2025
A juvenile Curlew Sandpiper, a Ruff, five Knot, two Greenshanks and four Pintail in Ardmore North Bay.
A Marsh Harrier over Aird Meadow, RSPB Lochwinnoch in the morning, also an Osprey over Barr Loch later.
Records from Isle of Bute, included a Knot, two Black-tailed Godwits and four Bar-tailed Godwits at Drumachloy Burn mouth, three Red-throated Divers in Ettrick Bay and single Little Egrets at Kames Bay and Ardbeg Point.
Seven Little Egrets, five Ruff and two Black-tailed Godwits at Longhaugh Point field pools, also two Ospreys.
A Little Egret, five Green Sandpipers and six Black-tailed Godwits at RSPB Baron's Haugh, also still three Common Sandpipers.
Two Black-tailed Godwits at Pilmuir Dam, Newton Mearns, also 20 Sand Martins.

Five Ruff, six Little Egrets, five Knot, a Greenshank and five Black-tailed Godwits at Longhaugh Point field pools, also an Osprey.
The Polish ringed adult Mediterranean Gull again at Ironotter Point, Greenock.
A Ruff and at least seven Black-tailed Godwits at RSPB Baron's Haugh, also a Pintail.

Monday 8 September 2025
From the Isle of Arran, a Marsh Harrier south over Rubha Salach and a juvenile White-tailed Eagle flying east along the shore below Levencorroch.
A juvenile Marsh Harrier at Newshot Island.
Six Ruff, three Little Egrets, seven Knot, a Greenshank and ten Black-tailed Godwits at Longhaugh Point field pools, also an Osprey.
A juvenile Sanderling with Dunlin and two Greenshanks at Ardmore North Bay, also two Pintails.
A Ruff, two Green Sandpipers and up to ten Black-tailed Godwits at RSPB Baron's Haugh, also two Peregrines and six Shovelers.

Good numbers of waders at Drumachloy Burn mouth. Isle of Bute including seven Sanderlings, 100 Ringed Plovers and 30 Turnstones, also eight Bar-tailed Godwits.
A Red Kite going north over south end of Barr Loch, RSPB Lochwinnoch.
Nine Little Egrets and now eight Pintail at Ardmore North Bay,
An unringed Mediterranean Gull at Ironotter Point, Greenock.
Two Ruff, two Green Sandpipers and up to ten Black-tailed Godwits at RSPB Baron's Haugh, also still a Common Sandpiper.
Ringtail Hen Harrier at Carbeth.
A good count of 330 Lapwings at Frankfield Loch, also eleven Shovelers.

A Great White Egret commuting between Hillend Reservoir and nearby Lilly Loch, also two Ospreys remain at Hillend with 25 Ringed Plovers.
Eleven Greenshanks, two Knot, a Little Egret and a Common Sandpiper at Finlaystone Point, also five Ospreys.
The Belgian ringed adult Mediterranean Gull back at Strathclyde Loch.
Nine Little Egrets, two Greenshanks and six Knot at Ardmore North Bay, also two Pintails.

Friday 12 September 2025
Two Curlew Sandpipers at Ardmore North Bay, also three Golden Plovers and six Knot.
A Curlew Sandpiper, a Ruff and five Little Egrets at Longhaugh Point field pools, also five Black-tailed Godwits and an Osprey.
A Curlew Sandpiper at Drumachloy Bay, Isle of Bute, also 15 White Wagtails.
Two Ruff, nine Black-tailed Godwits and four Green Sandpipers at RSPB Baron's Haugh, also 300 House Martins and still a Common Sandpiper.

Saturday 13 September 2025
An adult Little Gull briefly at Ardmore North Bay.
A Great White Egret at RSPB Baron's Haugh, also still two Ruff. Up to nine Black-tailed Godwits and five Green Sandpipers; later a ringtail Hen Harrier over.
A Wood Sandpiper and a Black-tailed Godwit at South Medwin Pools, Dunsyre, also a Goshawk, two ringtail Hen Harriers and a female Merlin.
A Curlew Sandpiper, two Ruff, a Greenshank, a Knot and six Little Egrets at Longhaugh Point field pools, also 12 Black-tailed Godwits and two Ospreys..
An excellent count of 30 Shovelers with at least 800 wildfowl at Frankfield Loch.

Sunday 14 September 2025
A Great White Egret and an unconfirmed report of a Bittern at RSPB Baron's Haugh, also a Little Egret and 14 Black-tailed Godwits.
The drake Ring-necked Duck on the canal at Speirs Wharf, Glasgow.
Two Ruff, now a Grey Plover and three Little Egrets at Longhaugh Point field pools, also 16 Black-tailed Godwits and an Osprey; nearby a Ruff and a Common Sandpiper at Newshot Island.
The Polish ringed Mediterranean Gull again at Ironotter Point, Greenock; further east, five Greenshanks and an Osprey at Parklea, Port Glasgow.

A Great White Egret still at RSPB Baron's Haugh, also a Black-tailed Godwit and a Green Sandpiper with a Redstart at Easter Braes,
Now seven Ruff and three Little Egrets at Carstairs Junction Bridge and 45 Pink-footed Geese over.
On the estuary at Gourock, a large moult flock of 70 Goosanders.

A Curlew Sandpiper just upriver of Longhaugh Point, also two Knot, a Greenshank and 12 Black-tailed Godwits at the field pools.
A Marsh Harrier over RSPB Lochwinnoch early morning, also a Golden Plover over north calling, and two Black-tailed Godwits on the scrape.
Two Green Sandpipers and up to six Black-tailed Godwits at RSPB Baron's Haugh.
110 Golden Plovers briefly at South Medwin Pools, also two Black-tailed Godwits.
A ringtail Hen Harrier quartering RSPB Loch Lomond.
Sightings on Isle of Arran over the last week included, a Red Kite on 17th and five Sanderlings on 20th, also Pink-footed Geese flying over on 17th and a record five Little Egrets on 16th.

A Great White Egret over Aird Meadow, RSPB Lochwinnoch early afternoon.
A Green Sandpiper and four Black-tailed Godwits at RSPB Baron's Haugh.
A Jack Snipe flushed at Lilly Loch, Airdrie, also a skein of Barnacle Geese south over.
Influx of Song-thrushes with a single Redwing noted at Craigend Hill, Erskine, also passage of Golden Plovers heard over.

Tuesday 30 September 2025
A Great White Egret continues to be seen at RSPB Baron's Haugh. In addition 3 Green Sandpipers, 6 Black-tailed Godwits and a count of 66 snipe were also recorded there. A Little Egret was seen flying South towards Carbarns.
In excess of 6000 Pink-footed Geese accompanied by at least 25 Barnacle Geese were recorded at Westraw Mains, Pettinain.
