Glasgow Peregrine Project Watches

The Peregrine Watches have concluded for this season.

Dates for Peregrine Watches for the coming year were as follows:

April: 16,19,26.
May: 3,10,17,31.
June 7,14,18, 21 (new) , 28
July 5,12 - with apologies, the Watch on the 19th has been cancelled. This is due to, with only one juvenile, that the birds are more mobile and not always reliably found at the University now.

We meet outside the Hunterian Art Gallery and University Library just off University Avenue, Glasgow. They’re great social occasions too, so why not come along from 1000-1200, grab a coffee and talk all things birding in Clyde.

From 28 Jun onwards - the meeting point is the West Quad. From the main gate at the top of University Avenue, head towards the Gilbert Scott Building and on towards the central cloisters, and then into the right hand side quadrangle. Timings remain 1000-1200.

The team is made up of members of the SOC, RSPB, SRSG and we’re looking forward to meeting you.

To ensure we get the best view possible, it’s a huge thank you to Viking Optical Ltd who have generously donated fantastic telescopes and binoculars for us all to enjoy the peregrine spectacle.
