BIRDS WE HOPE TO SEE: The main interest will be seabirds including divers, shearwaters, wildfowl, gulls and skuas possible. Golden Eagle in Lochranza.
TRAVELLING:
Public transport: The 901 and 906 bus service from Glasgow, both call at Inverkip.
By car: By car it takes about 45 minutes from central Glasgow (M8 and A78). Parking is free.
TERRAIN: Flat surface decking area and flat paved roads at Lochranza.
OPTICS: Binoculars are essential and a telescope would be useful for looking for eagles.
FOOTWEAR and CLOTHING: Sturdy boots and warm, waterproof clothing. It is advisable to check the weather forecast beforehand.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: You may want to bring a drink and a snack. Toilets and refreshments are available free of charge on board.
