An adult Mediterranean Gull and two adult Little Gulls at Cardwell Bay, Gourock.

19 Whooper Swans at RSPB Baron's Haugh including the bird with the GPS tracker collar.
A female Blackcap in a Pollokshields garden.
A female Scaup on Bardowie Loch.
A 1st winter Russian White-fronted Goose with Greylags between Kirkintilloch and Twechar
A male and female Scaup on Barr Loch, also six Pochard.

A Sand Martin and a Little Egret at Strathclyde Loch.
A Barnacle Goose with ~1100 Pink-footed Geese at Twechar.
The drake Smew again at Broadwood Loch, Cumbernauld.
A Little Gull on the Clyde at Dalmuir sewage works.
A Green Woodpecker calling very intermittently in Overtoun Glen.

A Little Egret at RSPB Baron's Haugh.
The drake Ring-necked Duck on Kilmardinny Loch, Bearsden.
 A Little Egret by the field pools at Longhaugh Point.
A Green Woodpecker at Loch Bowie between Milton and Overtoun House.
A female Blackcap in a Pollokshields garden.
Non-singing Chiffchaffs at Frankfield Loch, Hogganfield Loch, River Kelvin at Balmore and West Millichen.

The drake Ring-necked Duck today on Bingham's Pond.
Two Green Woodpecker at Edenmill.
At the Endrick Mouth, a White-tailed Eagle, a male Hen Harrier and two Great White Egret on Ring Point and the Crom Mhin.
 
Friday 6 March 2026
Two Red Kite at Watermeetings near Elvanfoot, also five Golden Plover. 
The drake Smew again on Broadwood Loch, Cumbernauld.
A Chiffchaff by the River Kelvin at Balmore Pool.
A Green Woodpecker by the timber stacks at Edenmill.
Three Chiffchaff in Bishopbriggs Park.
The drake Ring-necked Duck today on Maxwell Park pond.
The drake American Wigeon and two female Scaup at Newshot Island.
A Mediterranean Gull downstream from Newshot Island.
A drake Scaup on Heritage Loch at East Kilbride, also a Barnacle Goose with Pink-footed Geese in nearby fields
Two Great White Egret and a Little Egret on Ring Point then flew to the Crom Mhin side of the Endrick Water, Loch Lomond NNR.

The drake Ring-necked Duck still on Maxwell Park Pond.
A Great White Egret at the south end of Barr Loch, RSPB Lochwinnoch.
A drake Scaup still on Heritage Loch, East Kilbride, also, still a Barnacle goose with Pink-feet in a neighbouring field.
Two Green Sandpipers at RSPB Baron's Haugh, also up to 10 Sand Martins and now three Chiffchaffs (one in song).
A Green Woodpecker in flight at Lang Craigs, Kilpatrick Hills.
A Black-tailed Godwit and a Little Egret at Longhaugh Point; nearby, two Little Egrets at Newshot Island.

A Long-tailed Duck at the Carts Confluence.
A Great White Egret and a drake Scaup on Barr Loch, RSPB Lochwinnoch, also, a Barnacle Goose in adjacent field.
A drake Scaup still on Heritage Loch, East Kilbride.
A Little Egret at Millport Harbour, Great Cumbrae.
A Red Kite over the M74 at Abington.
A Barnacle Goose with Pink-feet along the Allander.
Male Peregrine (Clyde) on City Chambers, Glasgow.

The drake Smew still on Broadwood Loch, Cumbernauld.
Adult male Peregrine at Ardmore North Bay.

A new adult Peregrine on Gilbert Scott Tower at Glasgow University.

The drake Ring-necked Duck still on Maxwell Park Pond, Pollokshields.

A singing Blackcap at Clydebank is almost certainly still a wintering individual.

A 2nd-winter Mediterranean Gull with 200 Common Gulls at East Kerse, Lochwinnoch.
The drake Ring-necked Duck still on Maxwell Park Pond, Pollokshields.
 
Friday 13 March 2026
An adult Little Gull again at Dalmuir STW outfall, and two female Scaup at Newshot Island.
Below Eastfield Farm, Pettinain, a Great White Egret, 19 Shelducks and 3,500 Pink-footed Geese.
A Great White Egret in Lochwinnoch area, opposite Midrisk Farm; nearby, three Scaup (two drakes) on Barr Loch.
A Barnacle Goose with Pink-feet in fields between Balmore village and pool, and 25 Shoveler on the pool with a Redshank.
100 Sand Martins now at Strathclyde Loch.
The drake Scaup still on Heritage Loch, East Kilbride

A Snow Goose with Pink-feet at The Meetings, Carstairs. later at Eastfield Farm where still a Great White Egret and two Little Egrets.
A singing Cetti's Warbler again heard from Carbarns, also a Black-tailed Godwit on the pool.
A Great White Egret on Barr Loch, RSPB Lochwinnoch, also still three Scaup (two drakes) and 19 Whooper Swans.
From the Isle of Bute, three Slavonian Grebes, three Red-throated Divers and five Great Northern Divers in Scalpsie Bay, also yesterday an Osprey.
Two Black-tailed Godwits at Newshot Island, also, a hybrid AmericanxEurasian Wigeon.

The drake Ring-necked Duck back on Maxwell Park Pond, Pollokshields.
Six Slavonian Grebes and 15 Red-throated Divers off Ardmore, also two Pintail and a Little Egret in north bay,
Four Red Kites over Linwood at midday.

A Blackcap in song at Kilmardinny Woods can be considered a migrant rather than a wintering bird.

Spring return migration of 113 Whooper Swans to Westraw Mains Farm, Ravenstruther and 3,000 Pink-footed Geese at nearby Eastfield Farm.
36 Ringed Plovers, two Redshank and two Red-legged Partridge at Watermeetings, Elvanfoot.
Now two Redshank on RSPB Lochwinnoch scrape.
