Two Russian White-fronted Geese at Hyndford Quarry near Lanark, also ~1500 Pink-footed Geese.
A redhead Smew again on the east pond at Douglas Estate.
The drake Smew again on Broadwood Loch, Cumbernauld.
The Red-necked Grebe again at Frankfield Loch.
The drake Ring-necked Duck again on Queen's Park pond.

Four Russian White-fronted Geese (2 adults,2 1st -winter) east of Carnwath at Newbigging Farm, also ~900 Pink-footed Geese.
The drake Smew again on Broadwood Loch, Cumbernauld.
The Red-necked Grebe again on Frankfield Loch.
Four Ring-necked Parakeets in a Ruchill Garden.
Still three female Scaup at Newshot Island.
Off Craigendoran, two Slavonian Grebe and a Red-throated Diver.
Off Ardmore Point, seven Slavonian Grebe.
Eight Pintail in Ardmore North Bay.
In Cardross Bay, 11 Pintail, a Little Egret and 17 Bar-tailed Godwits.
A male Blackcap again in a Helensburgh garden.
 
Monday 9 February 2026
 A Slavonian Grebe at the east end of Hillend Reservoir.
The drake Smew still on Broadwood Loch, Cumbernauld.
The Red-necked Grebe again on Frankfield Loch.
Two Green Sandpiper and a Black-tailed Godwit at RSPB Baron's Haugh
A redhead Smew on Balgray Reservoir.
A male Long-tailed Duck on the White Cart by the Normandy Hotel, Renfrew.
The drake Ring-necked Duck has moved to Maxwell Park.
A Peregrine in a Giffnock garden.
At Newshot Island, a drake American Wigeon and a drake hybrid Wigeon. Also, an adult Mediterranean Gull and three female Scaup.

 Four Little Egret below Eastfield Farm, Pettinain, also 20 Shelduck.
Approx 1000 Pink-footed Geese east of Douglas Water.

A redhead Smew and a juvenile or female Long-tailed Duck on the east pond at Douglas Estate.
A Great White Egret at Forrestburn Reservoir.

A drake Smew again on Broadwood Loch, Cumbernauld.
A Red-necked Grebe again on Frankfield Loch.
A Great White Egret, three Scaup and two Long-tailed Duck on Barr Loch.
A redhead Smew again on Balgray Reservoir.
A Little Egret again in the burn in Bishopbriggs Park.
A Green Woodpecker calling very occasionally at Loch Bowie, Milton.
Two Green Woodpecker calling regularly and occasionally seen near Edenmill, also Crossbills heard calling.
A Green Sandpiper and a Woodcock at BAE Bishopton. 
Two Greenshank at Finlaystone Point and one Greenshank at Parklea.
A female Blackcap in a Netherlee garden.
A Lesser Whitethroat coming to feeders in a garden at 2 Islay Crescent, Old Kilpatrick. If visiting, please park responsibly and respect residents' privacy.

Three Black Grouse (1m,2f) in trees near the Stockie Muir lek site.
At Loch Lomond, a Slavonian Grebe off Aber Isle, a Slavonian Grebe out towards Inchcailloch, and two Pintail.
At RSPB Loch Lomond, a Great White Egret again in Net Bay.
Approx 120 Greenland White-fronted Geese at Meikle Finnery, by Gartocharn.
Two Slavonian Grebe and three Red-throated Diver off Craigendoran.
Nine Slavonian Grebe and 12 Red-throated Diver off Ardmore Point.
Two Little Egret and 12 Pintail in Ardmore North Bay.

 At Strathclyde CP, a Belgian ringed Mediterranean Gull and a Slavonian Grebe out from the mouth of the South Calder.
Two Green Sandpiper at RSPB Baron's Haugh.
The drake Smew still on Broadwood Loch, Cumbernauld.
Three Brambling and a Twite at the Blackstoun Farm rhubarb fields, also ~400 Chaffinch, ~380 Skylark and ~130 Stock Dove.

A Common Crane west of the M74 at Raith junction 5 only visible from the north bound off slip towards East Kilbride Expressway. This is a dangerous place to stop.

A Great White Egret and a Long-tailed Duck on Barr Loch.

A Common Crane west of the M74 at Raith junction 5.
The drake Smew again on Broadwood Loch, Cumbernauld.
A Ring-necked Parakeet by the Clyde at Carmyle.
A Peregrine on a pylon in Ruchill.
A Green Woodpecker and a ringtail Hen Harrier at Edenmill.
A male Hen Harrier from the John Muir Way path near Burncrooks Reservoir.
A Slavonian Grebe on Loch Lomond viewed from Shore Wood and a Great White Egret at Wards Pond, both at RSPB Loch Lomond.
 
Wednesday 18 February 2026
A Common Crane again west of the M74 at Raith junction 5 early morning then was seen to fly off and settle in the Hamilton Low Parks area. Later flew back to original location at Raith Junction.
A Little Egret by a tributary of the White Cart opposite Ben Nevis Rd in Paisley.
A female Blackcap in a Netherlee garden again, also an Otter in Linn Park.
 
Thursday 19 February 2026
A Common Crane again, mobile between the same locations as before - near the M74 Raith Interchange and Hamilton Low Parks.
A Tundra Bean Goose off Robiesland Avenue, Lanark. also ~1000 Pink-footed Geese.
The drake Smew again on Broadwood Loch, Cumbernauld.
A Great White Egret, two Scaup, a Long-tailed Duck and a Pochard on Barr Loch at RSPB Lochwinnoch.

A Common Crane again, mobile between the same locations as before - near the M74 Raith Interchange, Hamilton Low Parks and possibly Strathclyde CP.

The drake Ring-necked Duck again on Queen's Park pond.
At Blackstoun Farm rhubarb fields, two Brambling with ~280 Chaffinch, ~200 Skylark and ~45 Stock Dove.
Two Little Egret, one at Balgray Reservoir and another at Ryat Linn.
A drake Scaup and two Pochard on Littleton Reservoir.
 
Monday 23 February 2026
The drake American Wigeon, two female Scaup and a Long-tailed Duck at Newshot Island.
A Little Egret at Glanderston Dam.
The drake Ring-necked Duck now on Maxwell Park Pond.
Nine Pintail in Ardmore north bay, also, off the point, five Slavonian Grebe and three Red-throated Diver and a Peregrine at the point.

At the east pond at Douglas Estate, a redhead Smew, a Red Kite and fleeting views of a ringtail Hen Harrier and a Peregrine.
Ten Tree Sparrow at a SuDS pond off Lapwing Crescent/Heron View in Motherwell.
A drake Scaup on Littleton Reservoir and a Little Egret at Ryat Linn Reservoir.
The drake American Wigeon again at Newshot Island.
A Peregrine at Ardmore Point north bay.
A Slavonian Grebe and two Ringed Plover at Ardmore Point south bay.
Approx 45 Curlew at Drymen Bridge.
A Great White Egret in the Crom Mhin marsh Loch Lomond NNR then flew over to Ring Point RSPB Loch Lomond.
102 Greenland White-fronted Geese by the Burn of Mar at Gartfairn Farm and ~1400 Pink-footed Geese at Drymen.

The redhead Smew again on the east pond at Douglas Estate.
A male Blackcap in a Bridge of Weir garden.
A Great White Egret at the south end of Barr Loch at RSPB Lochwinnoch.
The drake American Wigeon and two female Scaup at Newshot Island, also,  a report of a hybrid American x Eurasian Wigeon.

A male Hen Harrier between Howwood and Lochwinnoch.

A Great White Egret and three Little Egret at Eastfield Farm, Pettinain.
180 Oystercatcher at Carstairs Junction Bridge.
An adult and a first winter Russian White-fronted Goose at Carstairs Junction Bridge.
The redhead Smew again on the east pond at Douglas Estate.
14 Tree Sparrow at the SuDS pond by Heron View/Lapwing Crescent, Motherwell.
Three Green Sandpiper and a Little Egret at RSPB Baron's Haugh.
The drake Smew still on Broadwood Loch, Cumbernauld.
A Great White Egret in a tree near Lochwinnoch and later probably the same bird by the Barr Loch, also, a drake Scaup and four Pochard on the loch.
Two Barnacle Geese with Pink-footed Geese next to the solar panels beside the A879 near Possil Marsh.
